Nevada Storm "Stormy" Born in 1998 and captured in December 1998 in Nevada

Stormy was my first horse. I had always dreamed of having a horse, and in 1999, at the age of 47, I adopted Stormy as a yearling (photo at right). He didn't know anything about humans, and I didn't know anything about horses, so we have learned a lot during the last few years! I have done most of Stormy's training myself with the help of a natural horsemanship trainer and we have come a long way. We can now ride bareback and bridleless. Stormy and I like to attend the Hoosier Horse Fair in Indianapolis, IN. each year in April. Be sure to look us up!

   "Whisper"
Born in 1998 and captured in 2000 in Nevada

Whisper was adopted by Diana Aselage in April 2001 (photo at right), and I purchased her from Diana in 2003 after doing some training with her for Diana. I couldn't help falling in love with her gentle nature and remarkable intelligence. Whisper has become one of the "favorites" with everyone who sees her, and is a "keeper" here at Spirit of Freedom!

"Yoda" (and Blue Moon)
Born in 2001 and purchased in 2003

Yoda came to live here after I had done some training with him in 2003. I wanted him for my new granddaughter, Chloe, to ride. He has worked out so well we are now using him for lessons for small children. Yoda is a real sweetheart and will also do birthday parties and pony rides. 

  Wyoming's "Spirit" of White Mountain
Born in 1999 and captured in November 2003

Spirit was adopted in 2004 as a 5 year old stallion. I wasn't going to adopt another horse, but when I saw him it was love at first sight! He is a beautiful tri-color appaloosa gelding. We just had him gelded in 2006.

       Heart's "Desire" of Nevada
Born in 1999 and captured in 2003

Desire was adopted in 2004 at the same time I saw Spirit. She is a Dun mare with the bands on her legs, a very prominent dorsal stripe, and large shoulder patches. She is coming along well with her training and will be starting under saddle soon.
